I love watching the Canadian home improvement show Holmes on Homes. Mike is my hero when it comes to pointing out incompetence in business and home remodeling. He always says: if you are going to do it - Do it right! We don't do remodeling but as a Professional Organizing Services company we are Washington state licensed contractors.

Why? Because we also believe in doing things right and in Washington if you add or remove anything from a home that is permanently  mounted you need the proper license and insurance so we do. No other Organizing company has a contractors license that I know of so when they screw in that spice rack in your kitchen and hit a wire in the wall, not so good for you. Hopefully, nothing worse will come of it but you never know. We also install Shelf Conversions into homes and businesses so we take the time and care to get it perfect for each customer, including the correct insurance. Our competition brags they can install your shelf in 5 minutes.It takes me about 15-20 minutes. That's 3-4 times longer? I bring an entire tool box, they bring in a box of screws and a power screw driver. The benefits of the proper tools, experience, precision and care combine to give each customer a quality lasting product.

I have another example of a company that I think also does it right. The site is www.batterybob.com. What are the real benefits of doing it right? I personally love the thanks and appreciation a person gives you when you do something for them and they love it. I also know they will tell everyone they know about you and that is equally priceless.
